Awards
Here are the award winners from the exhibition Photography as Fine Art.
Entrants from across the Commonwealth submitted photographs for inclusion
in this juried exhibition. Ben Lifson served as juror for the awards. The
1st Place Award was given to a work by Charley Ann Rhoads titled “Havana’s
Neglected Art School 1”. The 2nd Place Award was given to a work by
Keith Sharp titled “Scales” and the 3rd Place Award went to
Melissa J. Cruz for her work titles “The Chasing Magritte Series”.
In addition to these juried awards, four others were presented. Harrisburg
Magazine presented a Sponsor’s Award to Larry Rankin for his work
“Silken Swirl”. McNees Wallace and Nurick, LLC presented a Sponsor’s
Award to Hannah Joy Kovacs for her work “Steel Reflection”.
This work also receive and Honorable Mention award. The final award was
the Museum’s Choice Award that was presented to Elizabeth Soule for
her photograph “Sheepshearing at Kelmscott”.
