in the Murray Gallery, features work by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith
Haring, Claes Oldenburg, and Jim Dine. Pop was co-curated by Rusty Baker
and Jessica Lantz from a private collection in Philadelphia.
RePop
is curated by Debra Miller and features 24 U.S. artists inspired by pop’s
style, technique, subject matter and tone. “Because of the long tradition
of pop in Philadelphia, I wanted to see if there were neo-pop artists inspired
by the original icons, continuing the tradition, but with contemporary media,
themes and such,” states Debra Miller.
